This class isn't only about enjoying a variety of film genres. In this class, we create! We will watch films as a class to discuss topics such as narration, editing, sound, cinematic techniques, costuming, and the film's purpose. We will also compose our own scripts and star in our own movies. Students will work together to compile cinematic masterpieces! In the Spring Semester, students will enter their films into our Spring Film Festival. Join us for a legendary time- lights, camera, creativity!

Each themed lab will require students to decode clues, analyze evidence, interpret informational texts, complete scientific investigations, apply mathematical reasoning, and communicate solutions effectively under pressure. Aligned with the Mississippi College and Career Readiness Standards, this course strengthens reading comprehension, collaboration, and real-world problem-solving abilities across multiple content areas. 1.
