Meeting Dates: 8/15, 8/29, 9/12, 9/26, 10/3, 10/10, 11/7, 11/21, 12/5, 12/19; Ages: 10+; Time: 9:00 - 11:00 AM; Tuition- $250/semester; In this class, we will practice the scientific method and prepare for The Country Schoolhouse Science Fair (Thursday, December 19, 2024) and later for the Regional USM Science Fair (Spring 2025). Students will create their science fair project in class. We will discuss all of the components required in local and regional science fairs as well as practice scientific writing skills. This class includes: Lecture and Lab for 10-2 hour classes @ $10/hr (included in overall course price); Science Fair board and other materials (included in overall course price): $45.00; Because all of the teachers at The Country Schoolhouse are individual contractors, we all handle our registration process a little differently.
